Cargo
Rates
Private cargo charters are available at our regular rate of US$
1,450 per flight hour for the exclusive use of the aircraft.
(See Private Charters for more details).
However,
Shared Charter flights and Sun Air day tour flights also offer limited
cargo and/or unaccompanied baggage services,
enabling frequent small shipments & urgent items to be handled
on short notice.
This
service is charged at the rate of EC$0.02 (two cents) per lb.
per mile, subject to a minimum charge of EC$30.
To
help you work out the cost of sending cargo on one of our Shared
Charter flights, the following grid shows the cost per lb
to fly cargo between the islands. The mileage between islands has
already been calculated so all you need to do is choose your
route and multiply the per lb. rate by the weight of cargo you wish
to transport.

on a point to point basis only, that is with the customer being responsible
for delivering the item to Sun Air or their representative at the
point of origin, and for the clearance from Customs at the destination.The
maximum amount of cargo to be carried on a flight will depend upon
its size and/or weight.Discounted rates are available for repeat business
and regular shipments during a contract period.
